The rumor surrounding the interest the Cleveland Browns have in DeAndre Hopkins seems to change daily. After an earlier report this week that suggested the team is still in on the wide receiver, Browns and Cleveland dot com insider Mary Kay Cabot said that’s not true.
While appearing on 92.3 The Fan with Ken Carmen and Anthony Lima this is what she had to say.
“If I’m telling you they aren’t in on Deandre Hopkins…you can take it to the bank”
This report might not put the rumors totally to bed as she also pointed out that if there’s an injury to the position in camp they could then pursue him. But for now, it looks like it isn’t going to happen in Cleveland and that’s just fine with the group they have now.
