Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski took the podium heading into their Week 14 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. People were eager to know the status of wide receiver Cedric Tillman, who was forced to miss the Browns’ last exciting game with a concussion.
When asked if Tillman was expected to practice and possibly play this weekend, Stefanski said: “I’d say there’s a chance, yes.” Tillman has been in the concussion protocol ever since taking a nasty hit on Thursday night football.
Pittsburgh linebacker Patrick Queen attempted to tackle Tillman during this victory when he delivered a concussion suffering hit. The Browns promising pass catcher was forced to miss Cleveland’s last matchup due to his injury.
He is currently fourth on the Browns in receiving yards but has benefited greatly from Jameis Winston‘s arrival. In his last five active games, Tillman is averaging 66 receiving yards per game. Which is a tremendous improvement from his first half of the season.
Before he plays, we’ll first have to see him hit the practice field in the limited opportunities that he has left to do so. For more information on injury updates, team transactions, and additional details, please visit The Browns Wire.
