Browns designate promising rookie for return from Injured Reserve

As the Cleveland Browns prepare for the Denver Broncos, they get another body back in their cornerback room as rookie Myles Harden has been designated for return from Injured Reserve.

Harden was placed on Injured Reserve in September with a shin injury before he could even make his NFL debut after being selected in the seventh round by the Browns. He now has a 21-day practice window to return to the 53-man roster in a room with standout Denzel Ward and more.

Getting to see Harden on the field this season, by all accounts a lost season sitting at 3-8, would be of massive benefit for the Browns who have some future question marks in their cornerback room. Between Harden and Cameron Mitchell, do the Browns have a future nickel on their roster in case they move on from Greg Newsome II this offseason?

Let’s see what a healthy Harden can bring to the table.
