With 2024 NFL free agency set to begin next week, Joe Flacco has made it clear he wants to return to the Cleveland Browns.
According to Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegraph, Flacco’s agent has put a return to the Browns at the top of Flacco’s wishlist as he gets set to hit the open market.
After coming in late in the season, leading the Browns to a 4-1 record and a wildcard berth, Flacco went on to win NFL Comeback Player of the Year. He threw for over 300 yards in three straight games, taking the Browns’ passing attack to new heights.
If he were to return to Cleveland, however, Flacco knows he will enter the picture as the backup quarterback to Deshaun Watson.
The OBR’s Noah Weiskopf has reported as well that the Browns have made it clear they want Flacco back as well. Weiskopf added that Flacco’s camp is even open to getting a deal done before free agency even kicks off to keep him off the market altogether.
Will the Browns and Flacco put pen to paper?
