After the Cleveland Browns landed Za’Darius Smith in a trade with the Minnesota Vikings, they then cut two players to make space for him. This did, however, leave an open roster spot that the Browns have now filled. The Browns have now added former Baltimore Ravens cornerback Chris Westry to round out their 90-man training camp roster.
Westry is listed as a massive 6-foot-4 and 199 pounds but has not appeared in a game since 2021 (where he started two games for the Ravens). He is nothing more than a camp body at this point but has a chance to compete for a spot near the bottom of the 53-man roster.
