The Cleveland Browns and their fanbase were devastated when running back Nick Chubb suffered a season-ending knee injury during their Week 2 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Since then he has had two knee surgeries and has restructured his contract to return to the Browns in 2024. While Jerome Ford and D’Onta Foreman are expected to eat carries as Chubb continues to recover, there is no doubt Batman will return in that bright orange helmet.
Now nine months removed, Chubb is back in the building and is showing his love and support at OTAs. And during today’s session, Chubb spoke to the local media for the first time since his season ended a year ago.
Here were the five biggest takeaways from Chubb’s media availability as the Browns continue to get back to work.
1
He doesn't consider Minkah Fitzpatrick's hit on him dirty
2
Still no timetable on his return to the field
3
He's been counted out before
4
He thanked his teammates for their support
5
A return was always inevitable for Chubb
