LIV Golf rebel Brooks Koepka says his form is the best it has been for years, but faces only having one more event to play before a "bunch of time off".
The four-time major winner shot a round of 67 on Saturday to leave him just one shot off the lead at the Jeddah Invitational tournament going into the final round on Sunday. The American joined the Saudi-backed LIV Golf series in June ahead of their second of eight events, with the last taking place in Miami later this month.
Koepka has been struggling with hip issues this season and having now recovered faces running out of competitions this year while at the peak of his form, with LIV players suspended from PGA Tour events.
"Everything is starting to come together," said Koepka.
"It's the best I've felt in three years and the golf swing is started to come around. I'm excited. It kind of sucks we only have this event and Miami left, and a bunch of time off.
"If I'm healthy I can make the golf swing where I can compete again. This is the first time I've had back-to-back weeks since February so it's been tough to build a rhythm.

Koepka, who has won both the PGA Championship and US Open twice, has not won a golf tournament since February last year. He could be left waiting longer for victory after his second round of 67 at the Invitational Jeddah saw him slip down to second one shot behind Peter Uihlein.
The LIV Golf series, which has an individual and a team competition, will increase next season from eight to 14 events but in the meantime members like Koepka are facing a shortage of tournaments.
The powerful American says time away from the gym has helped his hip injury and resulted in his form coming back at this week's LIV Golf event.
"I'm just trying to be healthy," added Koepka, who is known for his powerful drive.
"I’ve had quite a few nagging stuff over the year where we weren’t sure if we were going to go under the knife (for hip surgery) or not, and backing off in the gym has helped.”
