Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have been been ruthlessly mocked thanks to their gushing Valentine's Day tributes - with mutual pal Selena Gomez piping in with a cheeky joke underneath one of the Instagram PDAs.
Aspiring chef Brooklyn, 23, surprised his wife wearing just a towel, gold necklace and a baseball cap on Tuesday, as he presented his 'forever baby' with a huge heart-shaped arrangement of red roses.
Nicola - who tied the knot with Brooklyn in April - was clearly delighted with the gesture, captioning the snap: "Happy Valentine’s Day! Best way to wake up everrr. I love you so much baby!! I’m so lucky I get you forever!"
Fans of the billionaire heiress, 28, were quick to crack a few jokes at Brooklyn's expense in the comment section.
"Next career move for Brooklyn …… Flower Arranger," one savage Instagram user quipped, referencing Brooklyn's multiple ever-changing career endeavours.
Others questioned if it's appropriate to share displays of wealth during a cost of living crisis and humanitarian disasters, with one commentator declaring: "meanwhile……. others are struggling between life and death after the Turkey earthquake, it’s really tragic to see people so careless!"
"Ok but why is he only wearing a towel but with a hat," another pondered, as the couple's pal Selena joked: "Lol he’s about to drop it!!"
Selena, Brooklyn and Nicola have raised a few eyebrows over recent months due to their close friendship - with the trio even poking fun at the rumours and joking they're in a 'throuple' at one point.
Former Disney star Selena, 30, was once left shocked after rumours started circulating about her dating Brooklyn back in 2015 - way before he met his now-wife Nicola.
In a resurfaced interview clip, the singer was mortified to find out Brooklyn had an alleged crush on her and had apparently split from his then-girlfriend Chloë Grace Moretz because of it.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen when she was 23, Selena was asked about the supposed love triangle between herself, Brooklyn and Chloë.
She quickly shut down Andy's question, saying: "How old is he? Isn't he sixteen? Now I know I look sixteen, but I'm 23, like no, I just did a movie with Chloe and she's outstanding.
"I don't know what happened with them, but they're like five. Why are we judging their relationship?"
Over on Brooklyn's own Instagram page, the eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham shared his own tribute to his wife on the most romantic day of the year.
"Happy Valentine’s Day to my forever baby x," the aspiring foodie began when captioning a snap of himself and Nicola.
"I’m the luckiest man I get to have you as my valentines every year forever."
Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot on April 9 last year, with a star-studded ceremony at the Bates Motel star's billionaire father Nelson's Palm Beach home.
