Brooklyn Beckham's wife Nicola Peltz sparks pregnancy rumours with 'announcement' snap as others figure out what's really going on

Nicola Peltz had fans doing a double-take when they thought she was sharing a pregnancy announcement on social media. The actress, who married Brooklyn Beckham in a lavish ceremony at her father's Florida home last year, posted a string of snaps to Instagram on Wednesday (February 22).

In the first one, the 28-year-old star could be seen baring her stomach in a white rolled-up vest which she wore with a low-slung pair of joggers and a grey hooded jacket as she held up a piece of paper.

In another photo, actress Nicola bared her underwear as she sat in a white dressing gown with her legs apart as she stared into the camera, whilst in a third snap she could be seen sitting in a car.

And despite having her taut abs on display in the first image, it didn't stop people from thinking she was starting a family with her new husband, who is the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham.

But others, however, quickly figured out what was going on. @julianna.loves.life commented: "In the 1961 film this is probably based on the main character Lola is pregnant, so I'm guessing this is meant to look like she's pregnant for film."

And Nicola also captioned the post: "Some lola film." Brooklyn, 23, was quick to respond, telling his beloved wife: "So so so proud of you baby xxx." Singer and pal Selena Gomez also showed her support as she replied: "Ugh ready to see this film!!!!!"

Nicola's post comes after Brooklyn came under fire again as he posed for a new ad campaign. The aspiring chef sparked a big reaction as he posted his advert for Silk plant-based milk on his Instagram.

The ad features Brooklyn looking into the camera with a plant milk moustache, wearing a blue cow print patterned coat. Fans realised that his ad was a homage to his footballing legend dad David, who modelled for the iconic Got Milk? campaign encouraging the consumption of dairy products in 2006. However, others were not impressed.

"My wife actually asked me to keep it @silk Because Silk Nextmilk is a better stache. Who’s next?" he typed. And the look got his actress wife Nicola's approval. "Sexyyy," she commented.

Last year there were complaints after Brooklyn modelled vegan Superdry trainers after admitting in a cooking video that he eats steak up to three times a week. Brooklyn, who became the face of the clothing brand in 2021, took to Instagram to show off the new shoes with 'vegan' printed on the soles while encouraging people to lower their carbon footprint.
