Brooklyn Beckham 'finally' met one of Nicola Peltz ’s close pals just days before their star-studded wedding.
The couple began dating in October 2019, and the 23-year-old eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham popped the question to his actress girlfriend in July 2020.
They’ve been busy planning the wedding, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, and are set to tie the knot in a Jewish ceremony at Nicola’s father’s lavish £76 million estate in Florida, with celebrities including Eva Longoria and Snoop Dogg set to attend.
One of the guests also due to watch them get hitched is one of Nicola’s close friends, and she shared a touching moment of her husband-to-be finally meeting her pal Angela.
“My angels have finally met,” she captioned the photo on her Instagram Stories.
In the snap, Brooklyn has his arm around her friend’s shoulders, as they beam at the camera.
In an interview with CR Fashion Book in November last year, Nicola described Angela as her “best friend”, and said she even based one of her characters in her movie Lola James on her BFF.
“Raven Goodman, who plays my best friend Babina in the movie, she’s based off of my best friend in real life named Angela. Their friendship is a lot like me and my best friend,” she explained.
The 27-year old actress has enlisted the skills of Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli to design her wedding gown, and she and Brooklyn will exchange vows on 9 April at the palatial beachside estate in Palm Beach.
The eldest child of Victoria and David previously spoke about their delayed nuptials, and said they wanted to get married as soon as possible, but the pandemic scuppered their plans.
“We've been engaged for a year and if Covid wasn't a thing we'd have liked to have been married already, and it has been a bit difficult,” Brooklyn told Hello! magazine last year.
“You know, I've only just started to travel again, I'm travelling a little bit now but hopefully, it'll be next year,” he said.
The loved-up couple also shared a few details from their upcoming wedding in an interview with Vogue, as Brooklyn cooked a meal for his soon-to-be bride.
“It's strange, because the more wedding meetings that we have, the more real it feels. Like it still kind of feels fake, in a way. I'm excited. I'm wearing a Yarmulke,” he revealed.
