Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz treated guests to £3 burgers at £3 million wedding

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz treated their guests to £3 burgers and £4 chicken nuggets at their £3 million wedding.

The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Nicola’s family home in Palm Beach, Florida last month, and the bash was attended by Brooklyn’s mum and dad, Victoria and David Beckham, as well as his siblings, brothers Romeo and Cruz, and sister Harper.

Nicola’s dad Nelson Peltz, 78, is the 432nd richest person in the US, and is worth an estimated £1.3 billion, and serves as the chairman - and major investor - of the American fast food chain Wendy’s.

Brooklyn and Nicola had a Wendy’s truck serving fast food at their evening wedding reception, dishing out cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets to hungry guests.

The 23-year-old budding chef said it was his idea to have Wendy’s at their reception, and his new wife was over the moon with his decision.

“We didn’t eat at all until we got to the Wendy’s truck, and then I had three burgers,” Nicola told US Vogue.

“It was my idea, a perfect final touch,” Brooklyn added.

Famous guests including Eva Longoria, who is a longtime BFF of Brooklyn’s mum Victoria, former Spice Girl Mel B, and tennis ace Serena Williams were also at the bash.

Brooklyn’s wedding has been compared to his mum and dad’s famous nuptials in 1999, but Nicola insisted their big day was in no way inspired by her new in-laws.

“Their wedding was incredible and those pictures are iconic, but the wedding we were most inspired by was Iman and David Bowie’s,” she explained.

The couple got engaged in July 2020 after just nine months of dating, and they were forced to change their wedding date three times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

They decided to wait until there was more chance of them being able to throw a huge bash, rather than having an intimate ceremony first, followed by a big party.

“Eventually, we decided we wanted the big wedding as soon as it was possible to do it safely. And we’re so happy we did,” Nicola shared.
