The long-awaited debut of freshman guard Bronny James, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, is coming soon according to Bronny’s coach with the USC Trojans, Andy Enfield.
Enfield anticipates Bronny going through workouts before the team’s game against Seton Hall on Thursday and told reporters James will “be out there hopefully pretty soon (for a game),” according to Adam Zagoria of the New York Times.

James suffered cardiac arrest back in July during summer workouts with USC but has made great strides in his recovery and should return for the Trojans in short order.
Bronny isn’t just the son of a legend, he’s a very quality prospect on his own – earning a top 30 ranking in the class of 2023 at 247Sports.
His return will add to an already excellent backcourt at USC, led by No. 1 overall freshman Isaiah Collier and fifth-year senior Boogie Ellis, who are each averaging 21 points per game through the team’s first four games.
The Trojans are 3-1 on the year, and after Seton Hall on Thanksgiving they will host Eastern Washington on November 29 before heading to Las Vegas to take on the Gonzaga Bulldogs on December 2 – where a return for James could make it the most watched non-conference game of the entire college basketball season.
