The Denver Broncos announced their 2024 training camp schedule earlier this week which includes 16 practice sessions open to the public.
Broncos fans have to download tickets to attend practice, but those tickets are free and parking at the facility is also free. That’s something the team has not considered changing.
“That’s a credit to ownership, really,” Broncos president Damani Leech said during an interview with the Denver Post‘s Parker Gabriel. “Certainly it’s an opportunity to make a couple of extra nickels, but that’s really not what training camp is about.
“That’s one of the things that you notice when you’re there: This is really about fans, fans who don’t normally come to games. This is about kids being able to get up close to our players. That’s really what it’s about.”
Denver players are available to sign autographs after each open practice, with position groups rotating days to meet fans at the west end of the practice field. That’s not going to change anytime soon, and it will remain free. Good on the Broncos.
