After announcing last week that new uniforms are “coming soon,” the Denver Broncos have now announced an unveiling date.
The Broncos will reveal their new uniforms on Monday, April 22, according to the team’s social media pages. The team posted a photo of what appears to be a close look at a jersey with this stitching: “4.22.24 Uniform Release Date.”
Last week, team president Damani Leech said the new look will keep the team’s existing orange and navy colors and the existing logo. So fans who hoped for a full return to the throwback “D” logo will be disappointed about that.
Denver will likely keep that “D” logo for an alternate uniform, though. Last year, the Broncos unveiled a new alternate white helmet that featured the throwback logo, and that helmet will likely be used for the alternate uniform unveiled later this month.
Denver will unveil new home and away uniforms and at least one alternate design on April 22. Some fans are uneasy about the looming announcement.
Various leaks have indicated the Broncos will incorporate mountain peaks on the shoulders of the new jerseys. We’ll find out for sure on April 22.
