We don’t yet know the Denver Broncos’ schedule for 2022 (the dates and times will be announced Thursday), but we do know all of the team’s opponents (home and way) for this fall.
With that known information, we can calculate how far the Broncos will travel for road games this season. Bill Speros of Bookies.com recently published a list of the travel miles for every NFL team this year and Denver is No. 2 on the list, only trailing the Seattle Seahawks.
The Broncos are set to travel 27,398 miles this year, passing through 32 different time zones. The Seahawks edge them out with 29,446 miles and 34 time zones.
Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Los Angeles Chargers will travel the seventh-most miles (23,266), the Las Vegas Raiders have the ninth-most (20,734) and the Kansas City Chiefs are in the middle of the pack at 17th-most (16,746).
If not for a trip overseas to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, Denver would have 21,527 travel miles this year (including an East Coast trip to Jacksonville). That would rank as the eighth-most in the NFL.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have the easiest travel schedule in the NFL this year (6,442 miles) because they won’t be leaving the Eastern time zone. Check out the full list of travel miles on Bookies.com.
