The Denver Broncos will finish their 2022 campaign against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 18.
To say that this season has been one for the history books — in a bad way — is an understatement. Before the season, the Broncos were predestined to a place in the upper echelon of AFC talent. Instead, expectations fell short in almost every way. From coaching issues to playcalling woes, to the worst injury problem in the NFL, Denver has experienced it all.
On the other hand, the Chargers have also experienced injuries, which led them to see new faces on all sides of the ball. Despite those injuries, Los Angeles found a way to win games, eventually clinching a playoff spot on wild-card weekend.
When these two teams met in Week 6, it took overtime for the Chargers to beat the Broncos.
Denver leads the all-time series against Los Angeles 70-55-1, but the Chargers have won three of their last four showdowns with the Broncos. Denver will hope to snap a two-game losing streak to L.A. and avoid going 0-6 in the AFC West on Sunday.
The Broncos will hope to end the season on a positive note in front of a home crowd. Can they pull one out against a playoff team?
