Welcome back, KJ Hamler.
The Denver Broncos are currently playing their third and final preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings and Hamler registered his first catch since returning from an ACL injury he suffered last September.
It wasn’t a huge play, but it is definitely a crowning achievement for Hamler in his return to action.

With Hamler officially clear, the Broncos will look to feature him as a dynamic deep-threat in the new-and-improved Russell Wilson-led offense. Hamler showed promise his rookie season, registering 30 catches for 381 and three touchdowns.
While the torn ACL deterred chances to capitalize on his 2020 rookie campaign, Hamler will get his chance this season, with a new quarterback in Wilson, and an offensive-minded head coach in Nathaniel Hackett.
ACL injuries are not the career-damaging forks in the road the way that it used to be, but it is still an accomplishment to return to form. Congrats to KJ Hamler for returning to the field 11 months from injury.
Hamler went on to later catch two more passes later in the game, totaling 18 receiving yards. At the time of this writing, Denver leads Minnesota 3-0 in the second quarter.
