Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy didn’t seem thrilled about Aaron Rodgers’ Packers extension

Aaron Rodgers’ decision to remain with the Green Bay Packers and sign a four-year contract extension wasn’t just bad news for Jordan Love. The Denver Broncos also found themselves out of their top quarterback target.

For much of this offseason, the Broncos were seen as the most likely destination for Rodgers if he left Green Bay. Denver was coming off a mediocre 7-10 season with no reliable answer at quarterback. Teddy Bridgewater is a free agent, and former first-round pick Drew Lock hasn’t exactly inspired confidence in Denver.

That was pretty clear, judging from Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy’s reaction to the news of Rodgers’ extension. He took to Twitter with a single-emoji tweet.

If there was a “Drew Lock is my quarterback” emoji, it probably would be that.

The Broncos still have options at quarterback. They could make a run at Russell Wilson or even Jordan Love. They also have the ninth pick in the NFL draft. But it’s safe to assume that Jeudy was hoping for the future Hall of Fame quarterback to show up in Denver.
