The Denver Broncos stand at 7-5 after 12 weeks, and one of the biggest reasons for their surprising success has been steady quarterback play.
Broncos quarterback Bo Nix had another turnover-free performance against the Las Vegas Raiders, going 25-of-42 for 272 yards and two scores, both thrown to wide receiver Courtland Sutton.
Following that performance, Nix has been nominated for the Rookie of the Week award on NFL.com. Nix was one of six players on either side of the ball to be nominated for the award.
The other nominees are as follows:
- Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (25 of 38 (65.8%) for 275 yards, 2 TDs; 74 rushing yards, rushing TD)
- Bears QB Caleb Williams (32 of 47 (68.1%) for 340 yards, 2 TDs, 103.1 rating; 33 rushing yards)
- Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (151 scrimmage yards (87 rushing, 64 receiving), rushing TD)
- Dolphins LB Chop Robinson (4 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 2 PDs)
- Titans CB Jarvis Brownlee Jr. (4 tackles, INT, 3 PDs, TFL)
This is Nix’s fifth nomination for Rookie of the Week this season. After struggling to start the season, Nix has improved week after week, being a vocal leader of the Broncos as the year has progressed.
Fans can vote for Nix through Thursday morning on NFL.com.
