The Denver Broncos placed three players on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list ahead of the start of training camp this week.
Broncos linebacker Drew Sanders (Achilles), safety Caden Sterns (knee) and defensive back Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee) will start camp on the active PUP list, according to KPRC-TV’s Aaron Wilson.
Those three players still count against the 90-man offseason roster and they can return from the PUP list at any point before the regular season.
Elsewhere on the injury front, running back Blake Watson (unknown) will begin camp on the non-football injury list. Fellow rookie running back Audric Estime (knee) had a minor procedure this spring, but he is not on an injury list going into camp.
There’s also this good news on the injury front: tight ends Adam Trautman (core muscle) and Greg Dulcich (foot) have avoided the PUP list.
The Broncos are set to begin training camp on Friday (July 26). Denver will have 16 training camp practices open to the public this summer (view the full schedule).
