The Denver Broncos have made several roster moves ahead of Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
First, the Broncos claimed rookie nose tackle Keondre Coburn off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday. Coburn, a sixth-round pick in April, will give the team more depth on the defensive line.
To make room for Coburn on the active roster, Denver waived wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey. The Broncos then re-signed Humphrey to the practice squad on Saturday and elevated him to the game-day roster for Week 7. He will revert back to the practice squad on Monday.
To make room for Humphrey on the practice squad, Denver released fellow wide receiver Michael Bandy.
Additionally, the Broncos also placed tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) on injured reserve and activated outside linebacker Baron Browning from the reserve/physically unable to perform list to the 53-man roster. Those moves were expected.
Dulcich will now have to sit out four weeks before being eligible to return to the active roster. Browning returns this week after recovering from offseason knee surgery that forced him to miss the first six games of the season.
Sunday’s game will begin at 2:25 p.m. MT and will be televised on CBS in select TV markets. Green Bay is considered a slight favorite this week.
