The Denver Broncos are having trouble holding on to the football … at the worst possible time.
First, Melvin Gordon’s fumble on fourth down was recovered by Seattle.
After the Broncos forced a Seahawk turnover, Russell Wilson handed off to Javonte Williams on a play that started inside the Seattle 1.
The big running back was hit and coughed up the football, just as Gordon had earlier in the quarter.
Mike Jackson came up with the loose ball and once again Denver had nothing to show for it.

A team losing fumbles twice in one game inside the opponent’s 5-yard line had not happened for more than a decade.
The last time a team lost a pair of fumbles at the opponent’s one-yard line happened during the 1987 strike season when the Kansas City Chiefs “players” managed to do it.
