No team in the NFL travels better than the Pittsburgh Steelers. Historically, Steeler Nation will take over a road stadium with Terrible Towels and a sea of Black and Gold. We saw it last week so much so the Denver Broncos had to go to a silent count on offense in their own stadium.
But Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton didn’t seem overly concerned when asked about the Steelers faithful invading Empower Field at Mile High. “We’ll be fine,” Singleton said. “I think we have better fans than the Falcons.”
The Broncos might have better fans but history says the Steelers have the best fans and they will be there in full force. If Broncos fans put their tickets up for sale, no one should be shocked if a Steelers fan is who scoops them up. There have been situations when opposing head coached have appealed to their fanbases to not sell their tickets for fear of a Steelers takeover.
We expect a ton of black and gold in the stadium on Sunday after the Broncos got off to an 0-1 start and Pittsburgh came out of Week One with a win.
