Broncos inactives: RB Javonte Williams won’t play vs. Jets

The Denver Broncos have announced their list of five inactive players for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Broncos running back Javonte Williams (quad) is the team’s most notable inactive player this week. Joining him on the inactive list are cornerback Fabian Moreau, outside linebacker Thomas Incoom, safety JL Skinner and center Alex Forsyth.

Those five inactive players are members of the 53-man roster who are not eligible to play against the Jets on Sunday.

With Williams inactive, Samaje Perine and Jaleel McLaughlin will serve as the team’s top two running backs against New York. Dwayne Washington was also called up from the practice squad to the active roster last week.

Sunday’s game will begin at 2:25 p.m. MT on select CBS channels (view the TV map here). Denver is considered a slight betting favorite at home, and the Broncos lead the all-time series against the Jets 22-17-1.
