Broncos host DL Jordon Riley on top-30 visit

The Denver Broncos recently hosted Oregon defensive lineman Jordon Riley on a top-30 visit, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis. NFL teams are allowed to host up to 30 non-local prospects at their facility leading up to the draft each offseason.

Riley (6-5, 338 pounds) ran a 40-yard dash in 5.28 seconds and a 10-yard split in 1.89 seconds at Oregon’s pro day. He started his college career at North Carolina in 2017 before transferring to Garden City Community College in 2019.  Riley later transferred to Nebraska ahead of the 2020 season.

After two years with the Cornhuskers, Riley was a graduate transfer to Oregon ahead of the 2022 season. He totaled 21 tackles (1.5 behind the line), one pass breakup and a half sack in 13 games with the Ducks.

Riley is projected to be a late-round pick or undrafted free agent later this month. The Broncos do not currently hold a pick in the seventh round, so they might be looking at Riley as a UDFA candidate.

The 2023 NFL draft will be held in Kansas City from April 27-29.
