Free the raccoon!
Before the Denver Broncos‘ game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, fans spotted a raccoon wandering around Empower Field at Mile High.
Security tried to catch the speedy mammal before kickoff without much luck:

Eventually, a fan ended up grabbing the raccoon with his bare hands! (Which is absolutely not advisable.)

That gave security an opportunity to move into position to cage the raccoon. But he escaped!

After the ‘coon drama, fans at the stadium enjoyed a convincing 34-18 win over the Raiders while Denver wore its beautiful throwback uniform. Raccoon shenanigans aside, it was a great day in Broncos Country.
