Following a 23-16 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, the Denver Broncos are now ranked No. 19 in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. That’s down two spots from Denver’s No. 17 ranking last week.
Here is Davis’ commentary on the Broncos after Week 6:
RB Javonte Williams has the most touches in the league (79) without scoring a TD, and only four teams have fewer trips to the end zone than Denver’s 10.
Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 1, the Chargers are ranked No. 17 and the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked No. 27.
The New Orleans Saints, who will host the Broncos on Thursday Night Football this week, are ranked No. 25. Thursday’s game will mark coach Sean Payton’s return to New Orleans and Denver is considered a slight underdog.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are ranked No. 32 (last). To view the complete NFL power rankings, visit USATODAY.com.
