Broncos DC Ejiro Evero is in play as Joe Woods’ replacement

As the Cleveland Browns look to replace the recently fired Joe Woods and fill their opening at defensive coordinator, they have already requested a flurry of interviews. The Browns have not, however, requested their biggest potential fish yet as he is still under contract for the same role with the Denver Broncos, and is expected to get interviews for a head coaching gig this offseason as well. However, ESPN’s Jake Trotter has reported that Evero remains a name to keep an eye on as the Browns sift through a strong list of candidates.

If Evero is not retained by the Broncos, and if he does not land a head coaching gig, then he is the best candidate on the market for the Browns to pursue.
