Brock Purdy’s perfect day vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was enough to earn him his first NFC Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Purdy was sensational in San Francisco’s 27-14 Week 11 victory. He completed 21-of-25 throws for 333 yards and three touchdowns. His perfect 158.3 passer rating was the 22nd ever by an NFL QB with 25-plus attempts. Purdy is also the first 49ers QB to hit that passer rating mark since Joe Montana and Steve Young both did it in 1989.
This is the first time a player of the week honor has been bestowed upon the 49ers QB. He’s the first player not named Christian McCaffrey to win the OPOW award for San Francisco this season.
