Swift, who recently announced her new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ frequently attends Chiefs games, and her travel from her show in Japan to Las Vegas is already a hot topic with betting lines on when her plane will arrive, among other things.
Naturally, given the gravitational pull of the entertainment industry’s new hottest couple, it’s only right 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was asked a Swift-related question at Super Bowl media day.
Purdy didn’t hesitate to answer in the affirmative when asked if he was ready to disappoint the world’s biggest musical artist:

“Yes,” Purdy said to a roar from the mass of 49ers in the stands. “Yes. I’ll leave it at that.”
A perfect answer that exudes confidence, but didn’t cross a line toward disrespect. Despite the comebacks in this playoff run, this answer might be Purdy’s most impressive performance in a high-pressure moment.
