Among being dressed in their performance get-up, Amber and her colleagues add neutral-toned tape to their skin for efficient tattoo cover-up.

In the video, the brunette introduced her "professional tattoo cover-up" to her jaw-dropping 490,000 followers - Doug.

She captioned the clip: "Meet Doug. My professional tattoo cover upper at Funny Girl on Broadway."

As Amber prepped for her next on-stage extravaganza, the video read: "The one question I get asked all the time is...

"Can you perform on Broadway and have tattoos?

"The answer is yes!

"Here's how we cover up our tattoos at Funny Girl on Broadway!

Doug - who quickly became a fan favourite in the comment section for his witty human - demonstrated how the tape had to be cut to size.

Once cut with a pair of scissors, he simply placed the piece of tape on Amber's arm to discreetly hide the tattoos.

"Stripping you of your individuality because that's your job" Doug joked.

Once posted - viewers fled to the comment section to share their thoughts on finally discovering the little-known hack but many were praising something else.

One user wrote: "Definitely need more Doug content."

"I want Doug to explain EVERYTHING," a second gushed.

One user came with a complication if she ever wanted to perform in the West End.

They penned: "Jokes on them. I’m allergic to adhesive."
