Broadchurch actor Andrew Buchan has reportedly left his wife "devastated" after ending their 11-year marriage.
Amy Nuttall, 40, best known for her roles in Emmerdale and Downton Abbey started dating Andrew, 44, back in 2007. They then tied the knot in 2012.
It's claimed that Andrew broke the news to Amy just days before Christmas last year, saying that he was leaving their family home to start a life with someone else.
According to a source, Andrew allegedly "packed his bags" and headed off to be with his new lover, Leila Farza, writes The Mirror.
Speaking to The Sun, they added: "For Andrew to walk away from his family was a huge shock to us all – and Amy is heartbroken.
"Nobody is quite sure of the exact details, but Andrew has clearly had his head turned pretty dramatically."
It's said that Amy is "keeping going," but is finding it hard as the new couple will be appearing on BBC One together every week.
Amy recently shared a cryptic quote on her Instagram account which read: "I am not impressed by money, social status or job title.
"I'm impressed by the way someone treats other human beings."
