Everyone knew it would be tough sledding for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Baltimore Ravens. But we were hopeful that the Steelers would take this week to refocus, find their hearts and come into Baltimore and go down swinging.
Through two quarters this is not been the case. And during the TV broadcast on Prime Video, color analyst Kirk Herbstreit encapsulated the issue perfectly with just four simple words.
“Where is the fire,” Herbstreit questioned.
How can something so simple be so astute? The Ravens are just pushing the Steelers around on both sides of the football and Pittsburgh doesn’t even seem to care. This lack of energy is nothing knew, we’ve been talking about it well beyond just this season.
The Steelers trail the Ravens 21-0 at halftime and Baltimore will get the football to start the second half.
