
A 30-year-old man has been charged with the murder following a fatal stabbing in Brixton.
Ibrahim Gonclaves-Cumare, of no fixed address, was charged with murder on Sunday, March 23, in connection with the death of 34-year-old Troy Ramsundar.
Officers and paramedics rushed to Brixton Road at around 5.10am on Thursday following reports of a man suffering a stab injury. Despite their efforts, Mr Ramsundar tragically died at the scene.
Mr Ramsundar’s family are being supported by specialist officers as the murder investigation continues.
Ibrahim has been remanded in custody and will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today.
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, leading the investigation, previously said: "My thoughts are with the victim's family and friends at this devastating time.
"I understand the shock and concern this incident will have on the Brixton community.
“My team are already working diligently to gather evidence and establish what led to this tragedy.
“I would ask any local residents with concerns to speak to officers at the scene, or to their local neighbourhood policing teams."
