Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow and her husband Tyler Stanaland have announced they have split after just two years of marriage.
The pair broke the news on their respective Instagram accounts on Wednesday evening with the same image and matching statements.
The snap in question - in black and white - showed the couple in happier times cosying up on the subway.
Addressing her 2.9 million followers, Brittany, 36, shared: "After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.
"We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie. We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter."
Celebrity pals including Pitch Perfect co-stars Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson, and actresses Chrissie Fit and Vanessa Hudgens were all quick to offer their best wishes, along with hundreds of fans.
One user wrote: "I'm so sorry Brittany. You are just so precious. All my love to you."
Another commented: "You'll be happier in the long run, you'll see."
A third added: "So sorry for you all and sorry you have to live out your lives in the public. Sending good thoughts and prayers as you navigate this journey."
And a fourth said: "Sorry you are going through a difficult time. Sending love and good vibes your way."
The pair had been dogged by split rumours after Tyler revealed his Selling the OC co-star Kayla Cardona tried to kiss him off-camera.
He later revealed, meanwhile, that female attention from co-workers took 'a toll on his marriage, 100 per cent'.
A source told the People the pair had 'issues before', but this was 'the final straw'.
They added: "Brittany never wanted Tyler on the show but he was adamant. He wanted to make a name for himself on his own terms.'"
