After watching Patrick Mahomes lead the Chiefs to a Super Bowl LVII victory, his wife Brittany took to Twitter to voice her enthusiasm over Kansas City’s second championship in four seasons.
Mahomes, just days after winning the 2022 Most Valuable Player, turned in an efficient 182-yard, three-touchdown performance in Arizona to help propel Kansas City over Philadelphia, 38–35. Mahomes’s clutch performance, which included leading scoring drives on all four second-half drives, not only secured a second Lombardi Trophy in four years for the Chiefs but also resulted in the 27-year-old winning his second Super Bowl MVP.

Shortly after the final whistle, Mrs. Mahomes fired off a tweet shouting out her husband that simply read, “X2,” a clear reference to Patrick’s latest milestone achievement. Clearly, Brittany wanted to make sure the world paid respect to the star QB as he continues to rack up accolades in his young six-year career.
With the win, Mahomes became the first player to win MVP and the Super Bowl in the same season since Rams QB Kurt Warner accomplished the feat in 1999. Sunday night punctuated another remarkable year for Mahomes as the now two-time league and Super Bowl MVP will head into next season riding high on the heels of another championship and a career-best season.
