NFL quarterbacks face the most criticism of any player on the field on a weekly basis, so it seems only fitting that the wife of the game’s best player is often the target of fans on social media.
During a recent Instagram Q&A with her fans, Brittany Mahomes, the wife of two-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, answered questions from fans. Among her candid responses regarding inquiries ranging from her children to her husband, Brittany bluntly stated she doesn’t care what critics think or say about her.
“It used to yes. But not anymore,” she said. “I could give two s---- about people’s opinion of me that don’t even know me.”
Another fan asked if it is difficult for the young wife and mother of two to spend so much time away from her husband during the season.
“Not easy, but it is what it is,” Mahomes replied. “You learn and adapt as you go! He works hard and we are very appreciative of everything he does for our family.”
Brittany has often brought the spotlight upon herself over the years due to some off-the-field antics. Her critics had a field day after was caught on video spraying champagne from on fans at Arrowhead Stadium in Jan. 2022.
But recently, fans have come to see Brittany in a different light, especially since Netflix’s documentary Quarterback focused on the Mahomes’s and their home life. The resulting newfound respect moved Brittany to post a message thanking those fans back in July.
I appreciate kind people🥹🙏🏼 Thanks girl!💖 https://t.co/4fBMq6GYoK
