Britney Spears has reportedly been given a warning by animal control after her dog escaped and allegedly bit an elderly man.
The singer and her husband Sam Asghari's Doberman Porsha escaped from their California mansion earlier this week and was tracked down five miles from home.
The dog was given to Spears by her husband with the promise that she will be trained to protect his wife from "any motherf****r with bad intentions".
However, the dog got out of the couples' $7.4 million Thousand Oaks home on Thursday.
Sources said the dog came across a cyclist in his 70s who was getting off his bike when the dog bit him.
It was then that a member of Spears' security team got a hold of the dog, TMZ reports.
Animal control reportedly contacted Spears, Asghari and their security team, warning them to make sure their dog doesn't escape again.
Sources added that the man who was bitten went to a local urgent care facility after the incident to get the injury checked.
But a source close to Spears added that the incident more of a "nip" than a bite.
Asghari posted an Instagram video on Friday night thanking the Dog Says Animal Search and Rescue group for finding Porsha and another one of their dogs who had also got out and were located five miles away.
In the post, Sam held the two dogs close to him as he thanked the nonprofit group for finding his dogs.
He said: "They are the best search and rescue in South California not only because they rescued these two beautiful dogs yesterday when they ran like Forrest Gump out the door, and they found them five miles down the road, but because I truly with all my heart respect and trust their search and rescue."
Britney's dog Porsha joined the household back in 2021 when Asghari surprised his then-fiancée with the new puppy.
She filmed the moment as she asked: "Who is the new addition to the family?"
Sam replied to her: "Her name is Porsha, and she's meant to unconditionally love you."
Before he added that the dog would "be trained to protect you from any motherf***er that comes around you with bad intentions".
The Mirror has contacted Britney's representative for comment.
