Britney Spears To Continue Child Support Payments For Son Jayden.

Britney Spears looks happy with a slight smile on her face.

Britney Spears will continue paying child support to her ex Kevin Federline for their youngest son, Jayden James, even though he turned 18 on Thursday. Sources revealed that the agreement in their divorce settlement stipulated that child support payments for Jayden would cease when he turned 18 or graduated from high school, whichever came later.

Despite Jayden reaching 18, he is still enrolled in high school. Reports indicate that he is expected to graduate early in November, so the payments will continue until then. Initially, Spears was supposed to pay Federline $20,000 a month in child support, but this amount was doubled to $40,000 a month in 2018 when the teens were primarily under Federline's care. Last month, Spears decided to revert to paying $20,000 a month.

Spears' fans celebrated the news of the reduced child support payment by streaming her 2013 single 'Work Bitch' on social media. The pop star has had a tumultuous relationship with her sons over the years, with Jayden publicly expressing concerns about his mother's parenting skills in 2022.

Initial child support doubled to $40,000/month in 2018, then reduced back to $20,000/month.

Federline has also voiced his sons' discomfort with Spears' online behavior, particularly her flaunting of her naked body. Despite the challenges, there have been signs of improvement in their relationship. In June, Federline's attorney confirmed that Preston and Jayden had a conversation with Spears on Mother's Day, signaling a positive step forward.

While the road to reconciliation may be ongoing, the recent communication between Spears and her sons offers hope for a better future relationship. It remains to be seen how their dynamic will evolve in the coming months.
