Britney Spears has recently returned from a trip to Hawaii and came back with more than she expected after falling in love with a cute puppy.
She showed off the adorable ginger and white Australian shepherd with piercing blue eyes to her 39.6 million Instagram on Tuesday night.
And the star admitted it was love at first sight as she introduced the new pooch she's called Sawyer.
Sharing a video of the little bundle of fur, Britney, 40, wrote: "Geez .... can you have two loves of your lives because he comes in second !!!!
"I'm introducing the new edition to my family ... his name is Sawyer and he's a white Australian shepherd with blue eyes !!!!! I found him in Maui like a dream and took him home with me immediately."
The songstress went on to joke that despite Sawyer not talking back, he understands what she's saying and said he "makes my heart melt".
"He needs me and I like that," she gushed while also confessing she's also got a new cat, who she says will be introduced to her followers at a later date.
She continued: "My cat is French and very peculiar ... she looks at food as if she is 30 for two min before she eats it ... she's extremely smart and she looks like a miniature cheetah!!!!
"Me and security couldn't find her for 2 hours and then when we did she would disappear again !!!! Anyways I have a house FULL of small animals and I like it besides the potty training."
The video of Sawyer also included a short snap of the star dancing in a neon green swimsuit.
Viewers got a sneak peek of the pooch in his new family home as he appeared for a brief moment beside the star as she dancing in front of the camera.
Fans were loving the post and took to the comments section to share their appreciation with the star.
One Instagram user wrote: "He is SO adorable! Happy for you. Animals are the best companions."
Another commented: "Omg Britney now you have someone pure who will love you unconditionally you deserve it. Have fun."

Earlier in the month Brit teased fans with a potential new song as she busted some moves in a barely-there red swimsuit.
The mum-of-two performed a saucy routine in a dance studio as she told fans her new track was called Get Naked.
She strutted her stuff in a revealing red swimsuit and wrote: "This is 13 seconds of me in heels before I dyed my hair purple.
"This is a tease of what's to come! My song Get Naked! Hope you guys are having a great day!"
