Britney Spears is once again sharing her most inner thoughts on Instagram.
On Thursday, the "Toxic" singer shared a post on Instagram reading: "My inner thoughts on a daily basis" which included a parody video of two flight attendants smiling and waving at passengers departing the plane. One flight attendant says: "F***k you, f***k you too, f***k you very much" as the people pass by.
Britney captioned this post: "I love you all !!!" with three kissing emojis.
Britney's new post seems to be a subtle swipe at the bodyguard while sharing her love for the fans that are supporting her through her ordeal.
On Thursday, news broke that Britney was 'smacked in the face ' by the bodyguard of Victor Wembanyama, a basketball player for the San Antonio Spurs. The pop diva was a fan of the athlete and approached him at Catch inside the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas.
She allegedly "tapped him on his back" to which the bodyguard then "backhanded her". This allegedly caused Britney to fall to the ground and her glasses to fall off. She was also seen screaming in a British accent. When she returned to the table, the security guard apologised, claiming: "You understand how it is when you're being swarmed by fans."
Britney then filed a police report against the man and the investigation is pending. She is also demanding an apology for being left 'traumatised'.
Hours after the news broke, Britney released a typed Notes app statement on her Instagram.
She said the security guard's actions were inexcusable, stating: "I get swarmed by people all the time. In fact, that night. I was swarmed by a group of at least 20 fans. My security team didn't hit any of them."
In the post she also mentioned that she was aware Wembanyama said she "grabbed him from behind" but she disputed this claim.
She also attested Wembanyama was smiling and laughing as she was hit. She called it "cruel and demoralizing" especially since she's "5'3 and he's 7'4".
Britney shared that she was embarrassed by this story, but thinks it's important to share in order "to urge people in the public eye to set an example and treat all people with respect". She also made sure to thank the Las Vegas Police Department for their help with the pending investigation.
Both Britney's statement post and the flight attendant video have comments turned off, but that won't stop her 42.1million followers from speculating.
