Britney Spears refuses to give up on baby dreams after heartbreaking miscarriage

Britney Spears is determined to not give up on her dreams of having another baby following her recent heartbreak after she suffered a miscarriage.

The 40-year-old singer had fallen pregnant with her third child, and first baby with husband-to-be, Sam Asghari.

However, earlier this month, she took to Instagram to reveal that she and Sam had lost their baby following a miscarriage.

At the time, Britney told her Instagram followers: "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy.

"This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However we were overly excited to share the good news.

"Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment."

Following her fresh heartbreak, Britney is now reportedly looking ahead, and is determined to keep her hopes up of becoming a mother to Sam's child.

The Toxic hit-maker, who is already a proud mum to Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, from her marriage to Kevin Federline, is determined to get pregnant again.

Speaking to Closer Magazine, a source close to the singer revealed that heartbroken Britney has found comfort in the hopes of having another child.

"She's focusing on preparing her body to fall pregnant again and is hoping that it won't take long," they revealed.

"She is praying that the worst is behind her and that after everything she's been through, they'll get their happily ever after and she will become a mum again in the next year."

Britney devastating miscarriage came just over a month on from the pop princess announcing her pregnancy - her first with husband-to-be Sam.

Sharing the news on Instagram at the time, she revealed that she was confused after appearing to put on weight after her trip to Maui, prompting her partner to suggest that she could be pregnant.

And Britney's pregnancy announcement came after her controversial 13-year conservatorship was terminated in November 2021 - leaving her free to take control of her own reproductive choices.

The music legend emotionally told a court last year that she hoped to start a family with her actor beau but had been forced to have contraception fitted in her body due to her controversial conservatorship.

"I would like to progressively move forward, and I want to have the real deal. I want to be able to get married and have a baby," Britney admitted during her virtual testimony in June 2021.

"I have an [IUD] inside of myself so I don’t get pregnant. They don’t want me to have children — any more children."
