The life of Britney Spears has been transformed since she had her conservatorship was overturned in November last year – with marriage and motherhood on the horizon again for the star.
But while the 40-year-old pop singer is busy planning her wedding to 28-year-old actor Sam Asghari – and this week announcing they are expecting a baby together – it’s not the first time Brit has tied-the-knot or welcomed a child.
The singer was previously married to dancer and musician Kevin Federline, 44 – with the couple drawing attention during their high-profile marriage which included starring in an MTV reality series.

Who is Kevin Federline?
Kevin Federline is an American entertainer, singer, actor, reality star and former dancer – who was a backing dancer for a string of stars in the naughties including Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Destiny's Child, and P!nk.
He was born in Fresno, California, in the USA on 21 March 1978 – making him an Aries whose qualities traditionally include being ambitious, brave and well-organised.
His parents are Mike and Julie Federline who work as a car mechanic and an ex-bank accountant respectively – with Kevin’s mum and dad hailing from Oregon.
His parents divorced when he was eight-years-old and Kevin eventually moved in with his dad in California when he was 11.
Dropping out of high school as a teen, Kev then began his dancing career – putting him on a path towards the entertainment world.

Pop sensation Britney Spears married Kevin in September 2004 – tying the knot after meeting five months previously.
Their ceremony was performed in a home in the Studio City neighbourhood of Los Angeles in California – with the couple filing legal papers several weeks later on October 6.
The relationship was not to last, however, with the pair splitting in November 2006 and their divorce being finalised the following year in March 2007.

In October 2007, Kevin was granted sole custody of the couple’s two sons – and Britney was famously hospitalised in January 2008 when she refused to hand over the boys and after she locked herself in a bathroom with the younger of the two lads.
There then followed 13 years of troubles for Britney as she was placed into a conservatorship by American courts and she was forbidden from having any other children.
Kevin is reported to have 70 percent custody of his and Britney’s sons, while she has been granted 30 percent custody of the boys.

And it seems Kevin is also thrilled to learn that his ex-wife will be a mother for the third time after she announced her news via an Instagram post.
In the hours after Britney announced her happy news, Kevin's attorney Mark Vincent told NBC News: “Kevin is aware of Britney’s Instagram post.
“He wishes her the best for a happy, healthy pregnancy and congratulates her and Sam Asghari as they plan for the excitement of parenthood together.”
