Britney Spears' mum breaks silence on Sam Asghari wedding after ceremony 'ban'

Britney Spears' mum has broken her silence on her daughter's wedding after being banned from her big day.

The Stronger star, 40, decided not to invite Lynne, 67, dad Jamie, 69, and siblings Jamie Lynn, 31, and Bryan, 45, to the star-studded bash in L.A.

Tension has been rife in the Spears family since Britney's conservatorship, which saw her dad control huge parts of her life.

While Lynn didn't have a say in the agreement directly, the singer often lashed out at the matriarch on social media.

However with the order now dissolved, Britney is moving on with her life and her man, Sam Asghari.

The star shared gorgeous pics of her big day in which a host of A-listers, including Selena Gomez and Madonna got into the groove.

Britney looked beautiful in a custom made Versace gown and now mum Lynne has commented on the occasion.

Liking a number of pics her daughter put on Instagram, she said: "You look radiant and so happy!"

"Your wedding is the 'Dream' wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special! I am soooo happy for you! I love you!"

Britney and Sam tied the knot at the star's Thousand Oaks home in California.

No expense was spared for their big day in which the great and the good of Hollywood all wished the couple the best.

Britney was surrounded by friends, but two other family members that weren't with her were her sons Sean Federline, 16, and Jayden Federline, 15 - whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, 44.

A spokesperson for her ex-husband told TMZ that although her two sons wouldn't be in attendance, both of them and Kevin are "happy" for Britney and they wish her the best.

The star has had a tough time of late dealing with the heartbreaking miscarriage of the baby she shared with San.

In tragic news she posted on Instagram, Britney said: "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy.

"This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However we were overly excited to share the good news."

Britney's pregnancy announcement in April came after her controversial 13-year conservatorship was terminated in November 2021 - leaving her free to take control of her own reproductive choices.

The pop icon sensationally told a court last year she was desperate to start a family with Sam, but had been forced to remain on birth control against her will.
