Britney Spears has teased fans that they will soon be able to read all about the highs and lows of her personal life as she is currently penning her autobiography.
The 40-year-old pop sensation won back control of her life last November after a 13 year conservatorship that granted her father control of her financial and personal affairs was finally overturned.
The star has lashed out at her family in recent months – saying they didn’t do more to support her while she struggled following a highly publicised break down in 2008.
Now Britney is committing her lived experience to paper and is working on a memoir – which she says has been painful, but necessary, to document.
Taking to instagram over the past week, the star wrote in a since-deleted post: “Writing my book is actually hard after speaking for two hours each time to this lovely lady trying to create drafts…
“I cry for two days afterwards. I’m like, ‘Jesus Christ, I’ve been through it!’.
“It is incredibly cleansing yet hard.”
Since having her conservatorship overturned, Britney has been taking back control of her life – with a wedding and a new child now on the horizon.
Last year, 28-year-old actor boyfriend Sam Asghari popped the question following five years of romance with the star – and the pair are now planning their nuptials.
While further happy news emerged earlier this month when Britney revealed she is expecting her third child – which will be her first with toy boy lover Sam.
The Lucy singer is already mum to 16-year-old Sean and 15-year-old Jayden – her two sons from her past marriage to ex-dancer Kevin Federline.
Earlier this month, it was suggested that Britney and Sam had already tied-the-knot ahead of the arrival of their bundle of joy, but a source later dismissed the speculation.
They told Hollywood Life; "Britney and Sam are being playful with each other, and they are not married.
"She is going to wait until after she has the baby to focus on that and she will have 9 months to plan her dream wedding now. Sam and Britney have been calling each other husband and wife since they got engaged."
They continued: "She will continue to do so until they are married, which will not be kept a secret."
Meanwhile, Brit has told fans she plans to keep her life nice and easy breezy as she prepares to become a mum for the third time – explaining that she will be steering clear of the gym while she prepares to give birth.
She said online: “I don’t like this nauseous thing in the morning and it blows my mind how some of these women on Instagram are running hardcore pregnant.
“Hey, if you can do that great, but I’m lazy as hell.
“I know I should get up and do something but I genuinely like holding this precious miracle inside of me.
“I hope I don’t turn into the devil like I did with my first two pregnancies. I think food will make me nice and you will not find me doing cardio.”
