Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari ditched wedding ring in photo two weeks before ‘split’

Britney Spears’ husband may have only just filed for divorce, but a resurfaced photo shows that he was without his wedding ring two weeks ago.

In the snap, which was uploaded to his Instagram account on July 31, Asghari, 29, can be seen sitting next to his mother who had recently been hospitalised following an accident.

Beaming at the camera, the Iranian model and actor has his right arm wrapped protectively around his parent, while his left hand rests in his lap with no sign of a wedding band.

Asghari previously posted about his mum’s accident, writing: “Today my mother was involved in a major accident. She was taken to the emergency room. With the amazing help of the medical staff and some friends she’s doing okay and resting it off.”

Meanwhile, the caption on his latest upload read: “I’m so grateful for the love and support you guys had during Mama Asghari’s recovery after the accident.

“Sending a huge thank you to the amazing medical staff at Cedars-Sinai ER. Moments like these remind us of life’s preciousness. Taking a social media break to prioritise what truly matters. See you very soon.”

According to reports, Asghari has moved out of the house he shared with the pop star after a “nuclear” fight which saw him accuse her of being unfaithful and called time on their 14-month marriage.

Asghari has filed for divorce and in court papers seen by US news outlet TMZ, states the reason as “irreconcilable differences”.
