Britney Spears is continuing to live her new life following the end of her conservatorship last year.
The pop sensation revealed she had stepped foot in a bar for the first time ever at the age of 40.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, the Toxic singer showcased herself taking to a bar wearing an orange vest top, large sunglasses and her signature choker.
She told the camera as she beamed: "This is my first time at a bar. First time. I feel so fancy and I feel so sophisticated."
She then panned the camera to her assistant, Victoria Asher, who said: "We're having a little beverage," as she held up a fancy looking cocktail.
Britney sarcastically captioned her post: "So glad they took my rights away for 13 years to have a cocktail. I'm so grateful y'all."
During her conservatorship, Britney is said to have been banned from consuming alcohol backstage on tour and is even said to have had a clause in the conservatorship stating she couldn't drink.
Last month, she also alleged that she was made to take a number of drug tests each week.
And it was also claimed during her court case that she was forced onto contraception during her conservatorship and banned from getting married.
Since the conservatorship was terminated in November, the singer has been living life to the full.
While enjoying a number of luxurious getaways, Britney also tied the knot with beau Sam Asghari in June in an intimate ceremony at her home.
Last week, it's said she enjoyed a solo stay in a a $2,500-a-night hotel in Los Angeles after claiming on social media that she had flown to London.
Despite captioning a post "Waking up in London with my Cabo thong!!!,” The Sun claimed the snaps were taken just minutes away from her new home with hubby Sam in Calabasas.
A source told the publication: "Britney appeared to have checked in alone at the hotel and didn't have any security with her.
"She spent the night holed up ordering late night room service and seemed to be enjoying posting snaps on Instagram for her fans."
The pictures had being shared on Britney’s Instagram account, which boasts more than 40 million followers.
