Britney Spears reacted how we all would when meeting one of Wales' most famous faces, saying he was the "coolest guy ever" and that she is "such a freaking fan". The pop princess bumped into the one and only Taron Egerton while on a night out with her new husband and actor, Sam Asghari.
And in true fangirl fashion, Britney couldn't contain her excitement at meeting the actor, best known for his portrayal of Elton John in Rocketman. Posting three clips on her Instagram page, she said "Coolest guy ever !!! Such a freaking fan....I was so stupid!!!"
In the first two clips the two are seen posing for the camera, while in the third Taron jokingly hugs Britney from behind while Sam says "you better get your hands off my wife."

It's no wonder Britney was starstruck by the the Welsh actor, after recently admitting Kingsman was her favourite movie in which Taron leads as character Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin. Britney said in a 2016 Jonathan Ross Show interview: 'Kingsman is one of my favourite movies. I love the beginning because it plays the rock song.
Although it's not known where the famous pair crossed paths, it looks to be a swanky rooftop bar. Taron has been spending a lot of time in his native UK this year as he was part of a West End show - a revival of Mike Bartlett’s 2009 play Cock, at London’s Ambassadors Theatre.
However, he sadly announced in April that he would have to withdraw from the play for personal reasons. In a statement released by the Twitter account for the play, it said that his understudy would take over the role of M.
The statement added: "The part was originally played in this production by Taron Egerton, who has had to withdraw from the production due to personal reasons." It is not the first time that Egerton has had problems since taking on the role. He was previously forced off stage at the Ambassadors Theatre in Leicester Square after passing out.
Reassuring fans afterwards at the time, he said: "I am completely fine. Slightly sore neck and a bruised ego, but I'm fine. As some of you may have heard, I passed out during the first performance of Cock last night. I've decided to put a positive spin on it and I would appreciate it if anyone who was in the theatre last night just said that I gave such a committed, electrifying performance that my body couldn't handle it and check out.
"That being said, apparently you're meant to actually do the full show and not just three quarters of it. So I'll be back with a vengeance tomorrow night. Thank you to the amazing team at the theatre and my wonderful cast mates for being so lovely."
