Britney Spears has reportedly enjoyed a secret solo stay in a swanky LA hotel, with rooms costing over $2K per night, despite claiming to be in London.
The newly-wed pop star, who posed for 11 nude photographs on her Instagram last week, shared saucy snaps online, claiming to be in the UK.
According to The Sun, the pictures, showing the Womanizer singer holding her hands over her bare breasts, were actually taken at the Four Seasons in Westlake Village.
Despite being captioned "Waking up in London with my Cabo thong!!!,” the outlet claims the snaps were taken just minutes away from the new home she shares with now-husband Sam Asghari in Calabasas.
“Britney appeared to have checked in alone at the hotel and didn't have any security with her,” a source told The Sun.
“She spent the night holed up ordering late night room service and seemed to be enjoying posting snaps on Instagram for her fans.”
Based on photographs showing the same décor, the star is thought to have stayed in a waterfall suite, with one night priced at around $2,500.
Proving nobody else was with her in the suite, the 40-year-old wrote alongside one snap “I held my phone up with a book and remote control to shoot this”.
The pictures were being shared on Britney’s Instagram account, which boasts more than 40 million followers, while her new fitness fan hubby was sharing pictures of his own.
Slightly more PG, Sam’s pictures showed him working out in the pair’s private gym at their former home in Thousand Oaks.
It comes after insiders have revealed that Britney and Elton John are pairing up to record a new version of the 1971 hit Tiny Dancer.
It is thought that Britney met with Elton, 75, at a studio in Beverley Hills to make the hit.
An insider told Page Six : "This was Elton’s idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They have recorded a remix of ‘Tiny Dancer’ as a full duet — and it is incredible."
They continued that the pair had already played it for people at the record label and that "everybody is freaking out" as they believe it will be the "song of the summer".
The source added: "Britney is officially back. She’s back to work, and she’s super excited."
