Britney Spears admits "fishing for compliments" as she poses up a storm in a new post on her newly-reactivated Instagram account – after saying she's "never been better".
The Toxic hitmaker, 41, confessed she was "not having a breakdown" after returning to the social media site, sharing a lengthy message with followers.
But now in a new note to her 41million fans, Britney said she was "so shamelessly fishing for compliments" as she posed for a video to show off her new ring light.
"This video is showing my first time with a RING LIGHT !!! Damn, all this time," she said. "This video is not as good as the last one in this outfit because I was figuring out how to do it.
"It’s actually cool and I felt proud at my first attempt at this ring light !!! So shamelessly fishing for compliments. yes I got it !!!"
She cryptically added: "Or would it be better to trust the person beside me to shoot it … just saying !!! Reposting because I like this frame."
It comes after Britney made her return to Instagram just a week after removing her page and told her fans she's "never felt better".
Brit had changed her name on the social media platform and also shared a video showcasing her regret at getting a tattoo while in Hawaii.
But after her time away from the site, the singer made a comeback - and told people she simply took down her page "because I can". She also fumed at people to "think again" if they think the know her story.
In a lengthy post alongside an image of a pink rose, the star wrote: "Since everyone thinks they know my story. THINK AGAIN !!! A mere side of any given SUNDAY doesn’t show worship placing someones story out there … it’s a day of WELCOMING … not a righteous reply !
"It is what it is … nope I’m not having a breakdown … I am who I am and moving forward in my life. I have never felt better !!!"
She went on to say she's enjoying being able to "volumize my voice in a world where I lost my rights … for 15 years".
She explained that if those taking aim at her were able to walk in her shoes, they might understand how she is feeling.
Britney continued: "Still learning this no rules thing … I don’t think so limited … I feel younger and in awe … unfortunately I’m boring as hell and drink hot chocolate at night !!!
"I’ve waited nearly 15 years to drink alcohol only to realize I hate it !!! It makes me sad and I feel bloated, although food tastes better ... "
She then exclaimed she would "rather show my a**" than sit down, before concluding: "PS yes I took my Instagram down and now it’s back up because I can !!!"
Britney had earlier confirmed she was doing okay, revealing she was on an "ice cream diet".
